A man about to make that final one-way flight,

and a raven with the heart of a woman.

Exploring how true wholeness comes only from embracing the 'other' in life, both without and within, SPLINTER CROWN is a tale of mortality, identity, and the ties that bind as told in the universal language of pictures. Inspired by a winter-time trip to the Olympic National Park, family history of depression and anxiety, and the raven's legendary symbolism of death and metamorphosis.

Originally intended as a novella, SPLINTER CROWN is now in the first concept and writing stages of being Stacia Joy's first full-length, wordless graphic novel. Keep up with developmental progress and see sneak-peeks on her Instagram.

Interested in reading SPLINTER CROWN? Once development is done, the full graphic novel will be released online page-by-page as a free webcomic. Host site for the comic is yet to be determined.
